President Volodymyr Zelensky said the “State of the Union” project involving Russia and Belarus, if implemented, would become a real threat to Ukraine.
Speaking to the German Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Zelensky noted that the de facto unification of the two neighboring states will integrate their defense cooperation and put serious pressure on Ukraine, 24 TV reports.
“We observe how Russia and Belarus persistently cooperate. They can include defense, and then these countries can exert serious pressure on us”, is convinced the president.
He also noted that the creation of a “true state of union” between Russia and Belarus is an obvious threat to Ukraine.
